Chicago Maritime Festival - Become a Sponsor!

In 2003, the first Chicago Maritime Festival produced the most diverse maritime program ever staged in Chicago; it drew over 1,000 people to its seminars, concerts, school program, and shanty sing. Since then, the festival and festival outreach programs have been attended by over 46,500!

The festival promotes awareness about and fosters connections between the maritime community in and around the city of Chicago, throughout the state of Illinois, across the Nation, and around the world. The first 12 years were held the last Saturday in February at the Chicago History Museum. In 2015 and 2016 the festival was held at the Old Town School of Folk Music during late April. Festival goers enjoy seminars and workshops, a maritime music concert, plus ship models, displays, and demonstrations presented by the individuals and organizations that make up the maritime community in Chicago and beyond.

The Chicago Maritime Festival is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation with federal 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status.
